Traditionally speaking, (Fu), Prosperity (Lu) and Longevity (Shou) is the most familiar theme of middle ridges of temples. In order to match up the main deities of God of Prosperity Pit, effigies of Gods of Prosperity of Five Directions, which is made of Koji Pottery, are ornamented on the ridge; the base of it is decorated with Ceramic Art of Pieces of Bowl.
The design of the turning-over dragon on the ridge of God of Prosperity Pit is huge and special. A turning-over dragon, traditionally, is usually parallel with the ridge. The head of the dragon on the ridge of God of Prosperity Pit, however, is perpendicular to the ridge, which makes it solider than traditional ones. It looks like the dragon is really shuttling in the midst of mist and clouds, showing the extraordinary power of a dragon.
